These terms apply to all visitors, inquiry submitters, and customers. They may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
Culver City Asphalt Paving provides asphalt paving, sealcoating, repair, striping, and related exterior surface services to residential and commercial property owners in Culver City, CA and surrounding areas. Services are performed at the property address specified in the project agreement.
The scope of services for each project is defined in a written estimate or proposal provided to the customer prior to work beginning. Work not described in that written document is not included unless added by written agreement.
Estimates provided by Culver City Asphalt Paving are based on a site visit and the information available at the time of the estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Final pricing is confirmed in writing before work begins. Prices may change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the estimate, if the customer requests changes to the scope of work, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date. Any price changes will be communicated in writing and require the customer's approval before proceeding.
Estimates are not guarantees of final cost. We do not provide verbal-only commitments on pricing.
Project scheduling is confirmed in writing or by phone after the estimate is accepted. We make reasonable efforts to start work on the agreed date, but scheduling may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances outside our control.
Customers may cancel or reschedule a project without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a fee to cover mobilization costs incurred. Any deposit paid may be applied to a rescheduled project date.
We reserve the right to pause or reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions, including rain or extreme heat that would compromise the quality of the finished surface.
Payment terms are specified in the written project agreement. Standard payment terms require a deposit at project start with the remaining balance due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods are listed in the project agreement. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late fee. Unpaid balances may be referred to a collections process after a reasonable notice period.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any required permits are factored into project timing. Permit fees, when applicable, are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly included in the written estimate.

Culver City Asphalt Paving is not liable for damage caused by the customer's failure to fulfill these responsibilities.
Culver City Asphalt Paving warrants that services will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Any specific warranty terms are stated in the written project agreement.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by: ground movement, seismic activity, subsurface conditions not discoverable by visual inspection, tree root intrusion, use of the surface by vehicles or loads exceeding the design capacity, or the customer's failure to follow post-installation care instructions.
Except as expressly stated in the project agreement, we make no other warranties, express or implied. All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Culver City Asphalt Paving shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services or the use of this Site. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
All content on this Site - including text, images, graphics, and logos - is the property of Culver City Asphalt Paving or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
If a dispute arises between you and Culver City Asphalt Paving related to services or these terms, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through direct communication. Either party may contact the other in writing to initiate a good-faith discussion.
If direct resolution is unsuccessful, the parties agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings. Mediation costs will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, either party may pursue available legal remedies. Any legal action shall be brought in the courts located in Culver City, CA.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date.
